Your guide to the League of Legends World Championship in Paris this November

It’s quite a big deal for the LoL World Championship Finals to be coming to Paris this year. By the time players take the stage at the arena, we’ll have seen 24 teams from around the world battle it out for the chance to hold the Summoner’s Cup and win prize money of over $1million.
While at the time of writing it remains to be seen if Invictus Gaming will be able to be the first team since Samsung Galaxy to win back to back seasons, it promises to be an incredible tournament, and we’re very excited Paris has been chosen as the host city.

Where and when do the League of Legends World Championship Finals take place?
This year’s finals will take place on Sunday 10th November at the AccorHotels Arena (aka Bercy Arena) in the Bercy neighbourhood in the 12th arrondissement.
The finals are a one-day tournament.
How much are tickets to the LoL Finals in Paris?
At the time of writing, ticket prices have not been released. Anyone looking to attend is best to sign up on the arena website here to make sure they get an email when pre-sale starts.
Anything I need to know about the venue before going?
There are certain security measures in place for anyone attending the finals. Every gate has its own security area where items like keys and phones are checked airport style. Items like laptops won’t be allowed in.

How do I get to the League of Legends World Championship Finals?
The Metro Line 1 runs right by Fraser Suites la Défense, making it easy to get anywhere in town in a hurry. A typical journey will see you from your room to the arena in around 40 minutes. You can also take the 1 line and jump on the 14 at Olympiades; the transfer will see you get off at Bercy station which is right at the entrance to the arena.
Trains are very frequent and will see you back to the hotel in no time at all.
