The Paris Challenge Cup is back in town this September for another weekend of exciting gymnastics from the best gymnasts in the world. The event will be showcasing the skills of 130 athletes from over 30 nations. This major event will be a fantastic weekend for those who appreciate the beauty of this disciplined sport.
This year’s competition will be focusing on athlete’s skills on the balance beams, vault, uneven bars and floor exercises.

Where and when does the Paris Challenge Cup take place?
The Paris Challenge Cup takes place at the AccorHotels Arena. The arena is located in the neighbourhood of Bercy, on Boulevard de Bercy, in the 12th arrondissement. The event will take place on the weekend of the 14th & 15th September.
If you’re looking to go for some food while you’re in the area, Bercy has lots of independent bars and restaurants where you can have a bite before the event.
How can I get tickets to the Paris Challenge Cup?

How can I get to AccorHotels Arena from Fraser Suites La Défense?
Getting the subway to the arena is the most economical, costing only a few euros. However, it will take longer than jumping in a cab, which will cost around 30 euros.
A few minutes’ walk from the hotel is Esplanade de la Défense station. The subway will take roughly 25 minutes. Get off at Gare de Lyon, and the arena is a 15-minute walk from the station.
Anything I need to know before going?
As you would expect from events in most venues these days, there are restrictions as to what you can bring in with you. You can find out how to best plan for your visit and see a list of prohibited items by checking out the venue’s website.
It’s worth remembering that there is a public ice-skating rink at this venue should the mood take you to try out your skills on the ice while you’re there. The rink is open to the public from September to the end of May. See here for more information.
